Who We Are

The Independent Power Producers of New York, Inc. (IPPNY) is a trade association representing more than 100 companies involved in the development of generation, marketing and sale of electric power and natural gas in New York State. Utilizing cutting-edge technologies and fuel types such as Cogeneration, Nuclear, Hydro, Coal, Wind, Landfill Waste, Resource Recovery and Biomass, IPPNY members produce over 70 percent of New York State's electric power. Together, we're the Independent Power Producers of New York.
